On Monday January 11 my son got through to the surgery at 8am .I kept getting my calls knocked off or put down on me .I was very ill .I emailed needing medical advice for asthma . Tuesday an admin worker rang me in A and E .as I fought to breathe .told me I had been passed to covid hub on waterside .which is better for me they decided ,which is over 20 a time in taxi fares .Nitpicking details of my email . Told me I'm glad you are in A and E they will sort you out .no humanity to the distress trauma and fear caused to me and my family .I had been outside A and E in an ambulance for over. 4 hours . Terrible surgery with no humanity ,my complaint is still outstanding . People do not matter to them

Excellent medical staff, ok reception staff, awful booking processes. Yes, it really did take 136 rings to get through to my GPs, and I don't think that that was my record, that was only the most recent example. I'd hate to think of what this would mean for people who have to pay for individual calls, eg the elderly with only land lines.
Horrible place. Proxy surgeries and probably the worst reception I've ever encountered. I turned up with a letter of introduction from my previous GP explaining my immediate needs and was negligently pushed from pillar to post by people who showed no sign of caring. Then they refused to fast-track records which meant weeks without meds. Found another GP ASAP, recommend you do the same.
I took my mum to see Marinela today. She was very kind and polite. A lovely nurse a credit to the surgery
Some doctors I have seen here, made me feel like they actually do not care about my problem rather than trying to get me out the door as soon as possible. Wish I would have made a better choice when I decided to register with this surgery
