After 25 years of weathering and 4 attempts at repairing rotting wood, it was clear our dining room bay window needed replaced. I knew it would be a complex and bespoke design as I wanted to create an entrance with fully glazed double doors. It had to be in high quality materials to improve the appearance and resist the driving wind and rain. It took much research to find a Midlands based supplier who would work to the quality I wanted. Old English Doors seemed to meet the requirement but you never really know based on website claims alone. However from the first meeting with Mick and Daniel at the house my concerns were set aside. Clearly a family run business with an emphasis on quality marerials and finish, they listened then made a list of improvements and practical changes that I had not even considered and quickly came back with drawings and elevations. The work was completed with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by Mick and Daniel's willingness to change the method of installation to keep the job on track when my builder let me down. The result has transformed not only the way we use.the new entrance to the patio and garden. Thanks to the quality of materials and workmanship that Mick and Daniel achieved, the rear elevation has been transformed and improved the value of the property.

We had been looking to replace our old rotting Bandstand Windows and French Doors for nearly ten years but had struggled to find someone who we felt would do the like-for-like replacement we wanted. From the moment we met Daniel, it became clear that Old English Doors would be able to provide what we wanted at the quality we wanted. This was confirmed by a visit to their workshop whereby we could see the quality of products being developed and built. The finished product is even better than we had thought it would be. Whilst a like-for-like replacement, Daniel and the team have made small improvements to the design of the original doors, adding subtle features that not only improve the look of the doors but improve draining and weather proofing. The original stained glass windows were encased and not just cleaned but made to look brand new. Installation itself was brilliant, done in very cold wet and snowy weather, but at all times the team were considerate in terms of ensuring that any noise/mess was kept to an absolute minimum. The end product is that we cannot recommend or thank Old English Doors enough. The value for money they offer in both the quality of the product and service has been exceptional.
The guys were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish: really professional, very friendly and always considerate about disruption during the work. We are so pleased with the finished product: a beautiful new door a new porch/surround. We have had so many lovely comments from people that are blown away by the craftsmanship! Can't recommend highly enough.
Thanks to Dan and the crew I now have an absolutely fabulous door which is perfect for my Edwardian house. Nothing was too much trouble down to colour matching the blue and sorting the stained glass and letterbox that I wanted. When it came to the fitting I can't imagine anyone taking more trouble to ensure it was all perfect. I can't fault it!
Our beautiful new front door was fitted quickly and efficiently, with a superb level of craftmanship and care. I would highly recommend Old English Doors - the end product is fantastic, every detail was carefully thought through, and it's been a delight dealing with them.
