Doctors are great, never had any issues. But my god the reception staff, do you ever answer the phone?!! It's appalling service. Sometimes there's a dial tone and the call is ended automatically, sometimes there's a 1 hour wait because there's 15 people in front of you in the queue (and that's not even in busy times!). Honestly never know anything like it. Impossible to get repeat prescriptions through you, asked my pharmacist to call and it even took them an hour to get through to anybody! Even before the pandemic it was atrocious and nothing changed. How you're still employed is beyond me.

This place is a poor excuse for a doctors surgery. They stopped an amazing repeat prescription service with pharmacies and replaced it with utter incompetence and continued failures. Don't try to call them unless you have a spare hour waiting for them to answer the phone and expect emails to go unanswered, even medication requests. This place is more interested in having huge volumes of patients than having a smaller more manageable number because of money. Stay away from this surgery if you value your health!

Called today to update my address - tried on 3 occasions to speak to you and followed advice to call at 2pm as its quieter if not an emergency - totally understand with the pandemic! Only doing this as many years ago I attended A&E and after giving an alternative address as I'd moved was told I was struck off the register for not updating details. 45 minutes waiting on the call to be greeted by a disinterested \huffer\ who took my new details (which seemed to frustrate her with her sighs) and when I said thank you she hung up without saying a word. I can only imagine your huffing represents your spirit animal and lack of social skill. Maybe some CS training on front of house is in need - that or let her back in the wild! (by the way - I also provide front line work providing NHS services in practice face to face and wouldn't dream of \huffing\ to my patients)

DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY! The service is absolutely appalling and I have had to change surgeries. Requests for repeat prescriptions go unanswered, no on picks up the phone, you cannot attend the surgery due to Covid-19. Worse still, I had to complain to NHS England about the service and they LIED and informed NHS England that I hadn't been a patient with them for over 18 months, luckily I had evidence that proved otherwise. They also have a habit of ignoring any type of communication written or electronic but then if you ever do get to speak with them, you find out that they mark your records as having spoken to you when they never rang you in the first instance and you never spoke to anyone. AVOID THIS SURGERY AT ALL COSTS.

I've finally moved from this dreadful practice. The service and quality of care is atrocious, it took me 8 weeks of constant calling and asking to get my flu jab even though I'm vunrable. Which meant I was always on hold for hours on the phone, ignore the lies about the quiet time's to call it will always take you a hour to get through. After a major surgery for cancer the consultant said I need to take some tablets on repeat prescription this as well took 7 weeks and two different dr's to sort out as the first one didn't bother process it properly. After that same surgery the earliest they could schedule my aftercare call was over a month after it'd happend. The Straw that broke the camel's back though was the fact that they decided to change how they deal with repeat prescriptions. On the 1st of January they switched to a system that requires you to contact them if you want your prescription. Sadly they did not feel the need to communicate this to me until the 8th of February. This catastrophic failure left me with no tablet's. All in all I would highly recommend leaving this practice if you are with them and if your looking for a new Dr don't choose these they care not for your health. Anthony Fielding
