Easy going toy museum with lots of inteeactive fun for the kids (4 and 7 years old). Great service from the staff. A basic cafe is also available but you can bring your own and sit outside if you want.
Very fun to see the toys of the past and realize how many Swedish toys made it to America. Tomten area was a little scary at first, but really cool to see the toy making process with the real machines used in the past. Wonderful play areas! I almost missed the store - it is quite distant from the museum exit and not at all obvious. Signs are there if you know to look for them; probably a godsend to parents who don't want to visit the store every single time!
Nice place to visit
It is nice for younger kids, but as a grown-up it's only good for about an hour or maybe two. Our six year old spent a long time playing with Brio trains, but we were just sitting there with the other parents. But I guess that if our kid is happy, we are happy? The Santa's workshop downstairs is well worth a visit though, very nicely done!
Wonderful interactive museum with the very old and the very newest toys available to play with. Perfect for younger kids and designed with their height in mind too. For the train fanatics this is a dream day out. Don't forget to see the model railway in the disused carriage outside. The basement houses a Santa's workshop arrangement which is better for older kids who enjoy making and building.
Great for young kids; lots of activities and interactive displays. Plenty of information about the history of BRIO to keep adults interested as well (as if we didn't play with the displays, too...)
Nice place for the kids to spend a day or half.
