A truly superb place. I ordered the daily specials (duck salad with poached egg as a starter and the lamb with French fries as a main) and they were both incredible! The fries were so crispy and the food was clearly fresh. The duck salad was beyond wonderful. I also had the most wonderful cheese plate. Not only that, but the owner of the restaurant was the friendliest most welcoming guy I’ve met here! The service was so friendly and personalized. Highly recommend!!!

This place was quite yummy, but I wouldn't think of it necessarily as a 2018 Michelin Star recipient. The food was good, not great. We didn't have a reservation, but managed to get a table. The restaurant is quite small. It is not kid friendly if you have an infant or toddler, but they do allow them if you can control your kids. I got a tomatoes salad expecting a salad with tomatoes, but literally was a tomatoes salad. It was still yummy, but I don't like tomatoes. The escargot was amazing. I love everything about it. No complaints there. The steak is what threw me off, probably because in America, we grilled our steak, but here it's kid of stewed or sate, it tasted okay, but definitely not recommended. We finished off dinner with a creme brûlée and that was amazing! The service was slow, but I attributed it to the fact that we aren't French.

This place lived up to the review on its Facebook page from 2010.. admittedly it’s probably also the context of Covid19 that ensured there were no tourists and that it was very easy to make a reservation. The service was excellent and welcoming, the food was delicious and the price reasonable!

Really enjoyable meal. So good. The specials were great; duck pate, venison stew and apple tart. And a prize for the most imaginative place to locate the paper towels in the bathroom.

Very nice restaurant with excellent meat dishes especially the chicken in red wine. Cheese plate was varied and interesting. The dessert carte was extensive. We opted for sorbet as were very full from all the good food.

Great old school bistro near Gare de Lyon. Classic Coq au Vin, Pate de champagne and perfect oeuf au mayonnaise. Homey, perfect service. There were mostly locals, since few tourist venture far from gare de Lyon. The restaurant specializes in game when in season. If you want the classic bistro experience in a quiet spot, it would be hard to beat.

A few guest were already waiting outside right at 7pm on a Monday. Many of the guests appeared to be foreigners who didn’t speak French. The waitresses (who have a great welcoming energy at that!) spoke English well and was able to provide the specials in English and provide assistance for the rest of the menu. I suggest researching/translating ahead of time! I ordered the escargot for my starter plate. WOW. It was amazing. The portions are heavy and the herb and buttery sauce was heavenly. Highly recommend! For my entree, I ordered the veal with mushroom sauce and fries. This was a huge disappointment; this was the toughest veal I’ve had in a while. It was chewy and not quite flavored through. The sauce was good but when the main meat to go with it can’t be consumed with it, the dish is incomplete. Some of the fries were crunchy, while the other half was a bit soggy and there was no other seasoning on it. I guess it’s because the fries are used to dip into the sauces. I ordered the chocolate mousse as my dessert. The waitress offered it with alcohol on top so I obliged. However, whew it was strong! I’d advise to get it without the alcohol. Otherwise, delish dessert.

The experience was pleasant enough. Enjoyed the welcome. It was warm and friendly. Loved the venison terrine. And the gherkin bucket. Followed by the enormous pot of Coq Au Vin, which can be shared by two people. My sister ordered the venison steak. Both were just delicious! The cheese platter was great as well. Especially the blue cheese. By now, the restaurant started filling up and when the dessert menu was given to us, we were given but moments to choose. This was a bit disappointing as I like to look through a menu thoroughly however it was all rushed and forced due to the lack of tables and the ever growing number of guest. Anyway, my sister enjoyed her creme brulee but my apple pie was not very appetizing. At the end, we were pleased with our meal.
