Impressive Siza work that is somewhat marred by the fact that it is currently being used as a place to store building materials. Kind of takes the edge off an otherwise sublime and quiet space, but the razor thin concrete canopy is still a magical component, and certainly the most self assured and serious piece of architecture in an area cluttered with design histrionics and subpar post modern design abominations.

A great piece of architecture by alvaro siza...highly recommended.
A much written about and very dramatic pavilion designed by famous Portuguese architect, Álvaro Vieira. The use of a simple catenary concrete canopy to enclose a huge unobstructed exhibition space still inspires. The canopy simultaneously provides shade while allowing expansive views towards the Tagus. Definitely worth a visit for those interested in the architectural work of Siza.
Great location with an awsome view over the sea. Greeeeeeat! Love this place for relaxing.

Amazing place.
Beautiful building. There’s a water fountain in front of it where you can dip your feet, and every 15 minutes there’s a volcano-like burst of water from the sculpture that is really fun.
