Amazing amount of stuff in here. Anything you can't find, just ask and if they can't magic it out of somewhere they will try and get it for you or tell you where you an get it. A true friendly local shop where even the other customers seem eager to help. Top class

Great selection of wool there is no doubt. Over priced for sure, can save a small fortune by heading to hobbycraft or ordering online. Normally I'm a fan of high street shopping, not this time

I have checked the prices with online for the same products and I have found them to be similar, certainly not overpriced for the brands. And there is no postage to pay! As to Hobbycraft, again the prices were similar except, of course, when Hobbycraft is selling items cheap in a sale. In fact many items I found were cheaper here than Hobbycraft, no mean feat for a small independent retailer without the same buying power! Whats more, many items like buttons can be bought single for a few pence, which is great if you want just one or two, or and odd number that is not on a card. Staff were very helpful and their experience with craft ideas and methods was simply awesome! The younger member of staff seems to be able to make cracking items out of virtually nothing while the older lady clearly knowns just about everything there is to know about knitting, crochet, wool, threads, needles, etc. This isn't just a craft shop, it is an experience.
