The silos here are simply massive and are a prominent visual reminder that you're in Pt Lincoln. I especially like to see them regularly maintained with white paint. I can still remember when they were a soul destroying grey before they were painted! Would love to go up to the top but it's not open to the public.
Not worth 1 star! Viterra don't care about the regions roads it doesn't cost them. The fact they ripped out the lines into the silos and spent 8 million so trucks can unload more shows they've no intention of committing back to rail transport. Trucks were given permission for bigger loads in the region. Gwa spent alot on the network.and Viterra lied about the conditions of the tracks. Typical multinational company in Canada dont care just like they did to the murraylands and others. So I wouldn't waste my time visiting here!
This is a good spot to go ship spotting!
