A beautiful beach in St Ives! The perfect dog walking location. Absolutely stunning views in the sunshine and the water is crystal clear.

Very nice views and a quiet beach, dog friendly too, only issue is the lack of toilet facilities. This is not an issue however with the beautiful views and nice calm sea, not one for body boarders. Dogs allowed off leads at all times which is a plus, unfortunately however not everyone cleans up after their dog. There is also a long walk to St Agnes which takes an hour and a half at a quick pace, but has lovely scenery too, feels like you're abroad.
Beautiful very large beach great for social distancing, dog friendly, just wish there were some toilets near.
One of the best stretches of beaches in Cornwall, even better is the fact it is dog friendly.
Difficult access from Carbis Bay via uneven steep paths, one ovegrown and long path goes round a headland paralell to the train track before dropping down towards the beach. The shortest one ends in a rock scramble after the steps terminate some 20 - 25 feet above the beach. But a beautiful and unsurprisingly quiet beach. No lifeguards.
