This is one of my favourite beach spots. It's in Portland, just going down by the ruins all the way to the beach. From here you can either go down to the beach or you can walk on the hills, on either side. We did both sides and you can actually walk to Portland Bill. Beautiful. Absolutely stunning. If you want some peace and quiet this is the place to go. Everytime we went there it was never full.

Awesome little gem tucked away on the Portland coast. There used to be a lovely car park on the cliffs above the cove but this is currently closed. You can chance parking on the road above the cove or drive on and park at the lighthouse and walk to the cove. It's a great walk along the cliffs and a great area for climbing. Once you get down to the cove you will know it was worth the walk. Great little cove ideal for a swim.

Lovely little cove, historical architecture, great place to walk the dog but pebbles are quite large so anyone who has weak ankles may want to take it slow. Great views if you follow the south west coast path in either direction, beautiful part of the world!

A lovely place to go but it does get busy in the height of the season, if your walking around Portland it's a great place to stop and have a breather
