A popular and famous restaurant for traditional Nyonya food. Food is delicious and service is fast. The curry sauce is not very heavy and can eat either on its own or with the coconut rice. The owner is very friendly and attentive. Good dining experience. Price is slightly above average but worth a try.

Great place great restaurant. The environment is great and it's comfortable to hang out and chill with friends. The foods here are great. But a little bit greasy and oily. Libations are great and freshening. The service here was nice. Staffs are friendly but lack of experience. Price is average. Not too expensive not too cheap. Other than that, it's nice. Beef rengdang were put through microwave, the stirfried vegetable was not fresh , like food from last night, prawn curry was hopeless. Like a curry soup noodle without noodle MR50. Way over priced ! Disappointed . Another place to avoid tourist

A great favourite of mine for it's beautifully cooked Nyonya dishes. Owned by the same person as Old China Caffè, the background music is the same and dates back to 1952 Shanghai. Nicely furnished, this is a popular restaurant so need to go early, opens at 11.30am and I was first in today. Cook variety of dishes and reasonably priced.

Affordable, authentic and tasty! A nice gem in the central market to have a meal.

Pleasantly surprised. This being in a tourist hotspot, wasn't actually expecting all that much, but it was just as good as nyonya restaurants we've been to outside the tourist areas of Georgetown and Malacca, if also about twice as expensive (partly of course since we're in the centre of KL). Beef rendang was the perfect amount of spicy for me, though that's of course subjective, and was my favourite of the bunch, with the kaffir lime leaves cutting through the richness perfectly. The nasi lemak came with a good chicken curry, which was a nice bonus. The squid had a tasty, if perhaps too mild, sauce. Only dish I wouldn't order again was the 'top hat' one; apart from the sauce the flavour fell flat. We arrived 20:45 on a Saturday and the place was mostly empty. Good service.
