We drove around this area and found this beach but the first day we lost to the tide... So make sure you check tide times to get the most of your day. Luckily we came back the next day! This beach has toilets nearby and the parking isn't too expensive for the day. My children loved the soft sand and making sandcastles and trenches. They enjoyed paddling in the water and watching the tide come in until there is no beach left! Plenty of room on the beach perfect for social distancing!

Beautiful spot. Sandy beach, views and planty space to walk. I have fallen in love with this place, especially that is only couple hours away from Liverpool but you got the feeling like you are in some far away place. Very romantic place for long evening walks holding hands x

The beach stretches 5 n half kilometres from Prestatyn to Rhyl splash point. With a promenade walkway,. There's no Dogs Allowed from March to September in some spots., parking is pay and display at peak times. From early morning sunrises to glorious sunsets in the summer,. Located 15min walk from the train station and the Town of Prestatyn. Please help keep our beaches tidy. Take your rubbish home.,

It's a great beach- not much in the way of shops etc, but a wide sandy beach and prom.

Nice, clean, but dog walkers are forced to walk about half a mile if they didn't know there was an exclusion zone and you used the central car park.
