Great place to spend time in nature either for a walk, run or a ride. It’s great for bird watching too as is has a few hides. It also has a visitor centre and recreational facilities for kids

Great place to walk around for a few hours. Kids had a great time exploring, finding big sticks and getting muddy. There's a playground, cafe, toilets and little gift shop too. No entrance fee - parking was 5 per car for the day (as at Dec 2020), which is great value.

Fantastic place to visit if you like walking and the countryside. There's good bicycle trails too. Very popular place for bird watchers and nature lovers. They have a great cafe and gift shop too.

Nice place! A few trails to choose from, we went with the blue trail (2hours) in the rain!!! Paths are well-maintained and fun to explore! Open during visit: Kids play area, fishing lake, hides for birdwatching, gift shop and cafe. The food at the cafe was really nice, but takeout only due to COVID. I'd suggest more covered outside seating, we had to run to the car with our food Parking is 5 all day, loads of spaces. Location is relatively easy to find, just off the M6.

I loved it. I've never been before and I was very pleasantly surprised. Car park is well maintained but pricey at 5 no matter the duration, the walkway/water-level bridge to the centre is awesome and water around is very clear. We went on the Santa trail and posted our sons Christmas letter at the end of it
