Windmill transformed into a museum of local history; and which is also used as a venue for weddings. It is staffed by volunteers who are very knowledgeable about the history of the windmill, and of Rayleigh. They have done a great job in restoring its' appearance, though most of the original windmill working mechanism is no longer in place. It's picturesque. However, if you are a windmill buff, you might find it a little unimpressive. Worth an hour's visit.

Nice windmill to visit. just a shame could not climb and see the whole mill at the time. I do beleive its now used for wedding receptions
Lovely place a civil wedding. Small room inside for 20 people. Perfect for small ceremonies.
Very nice view and available parking. Wonderful bit of history with area to walk around. Will have to return for more of an in depth viewing and visit.
Had the most wonderful wedding. Perfect for an intimate ceremony.
