Nice place to let the dogs have a run about in the surrounding fields. Not many golfers out at the moment but a good course and club to join. Very friendly and helpful and in beautiful settings

Free golf at a lovely club. Grounds were good with a few boggy areas, most of the bunkers had lakes in them, but overall really good considering the weather and conditions. Some long Par 4's and short Par 5's, but with nice scenic views and well kept grounds. Overall decent length course with nice greens, only most of the tees were temporary. Love the GUR. Hardly anyone on the course due to the weather and conditions, so well done for staying open. Will hopefully be back in the Spring and Summer to enjoy it in it's full glory! Would recommend!

Not a too shabby golf club; a long set of 18 holes, which I found were not in the best condition as they were very dry and the lie was often unsatisfactory for the fairway. Also, the tee boxes could have had more grass if I'm honest as they were also a bit bare. Despite this, the halfway house and clubhouse were both good facilities and had a good selection of food and drink

Extremely packed golf course, no thoughts given to the amount of people let onto the course. Most days you’re looking at around 5 hour rounds. Also, very hard to get a nice morning time when competitions and big societies take up all the hours of most mornings, and the golf club leave nothing for anyone else! Money dictates this golf club.

Nicely varied course giving the most golfers something to think about. The fairways were quite green for the recent weather and the greens were also looking good. However they had just been spiked and did affect the ball's roll. There's also a practice arra with a couple of bunkers, driving nets and an 18 hole putting green! Well worth the 18 I paid for a weekday lunchtime tee. Recommended.
