A lovely fishing complex with a choice of lakes which will suit the pleasure, match or specimen angler. I took my son - I wanted a well stocked fishery where we were likely to have lots of bites and fish - this proved to be the case and we had a brilliant days fishing. The on-site diner is a bonus too!

Easy to find just on outskirts of Retford, very long approach track to Baliffs office and toilets. You most likely will be greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable Baliff called Toby.Numerous fishing ponds to select from, the match lake (Kingfisher, FLYER pegs on the point. We regularly fish Little Grebe lake (behind the Bailiffs office),in my opinion the fishery is a cold weather venue, basically because that's when I/we have caught more fish usually on Red maggots float fished or feeder and dont forget Bread There is a specimen lake that appears to be very popular, and I think you can night fish it. Generally it is worth a day out. Getting a peg in summer to fish at the weekend could be a problem due to the matchs been fished, that aside Give it a go
