The food is decent. I ordered the baked pork chop rice but the rice was barely fried and was very moist and clumpy. More like overcooked white rice. The service was great but the price is a bit pricey for what it is. Afternoon tea was 10.99

Good flavours and execution. Ordered two Christmas dinner sets last month. Duck breast with truffle pasta and salmon with an Asian fusion-tasting sauce. Pasta was perfectly al dente and salmon was nicely cooked (read: acceptable by Asian parents.)There was much more spaghetti than protein, which could pose a problem for high-blood sugar individuals. For close to 30 per plate (came with a “cream” of corn soup), I’m not sure I would reorder dinner sets, but there’s something to be said for the level of cooking and Asian parent-friendly flavours. Might return for a second try à la carte.

Food is consistently good whenever I come, service is courteous and efficient, and you can always count on them to play Fairchild on tv. I agree with others about pricing - it's not the best deal in town, but it's a comfortable and reliable spot. I like to order (for lunch) the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with toast, plus a side of fresh fruit. They make the scrambled eggs fluffy, and the fruit is actually fresh and sweet!

Typical HK style restaurant; food is good as usual.

Have tried their Waldorf salad before and liked it very much. Tasted very fresh and just the right amount of mayo dressing. This time I ordered sole fillet with potato salad. The salad was soggy, excessive mayo and did not taste fresh . The fillet was wet inside. Dinner menu was quite expensive compare to lunch. Service was always fast and friendly.

Never fails for a decent Hong Kong style western meal. Just avoid the steak dishes as they seemed to be priced too high these days.

Compared to other HK cafes, Dickens has a cleaner, comfier feel. It actually looks like a restaurant as opposed to quick casual settings. The staff here is also friendlier than you'd expect. The food is decent. Ordered the Baked Pork Chops a couple of times. Large portions, but the tomato sauce isn't quite right. Missing a bit of sweetness to balance out. All in all, about average for HK cafes.
