I live in the Houston area, received a ticket and am supposed to \appear\ on or before a certain date. I have been calling and calling and of course, no one ever answers. The ticket itself does not list the amount of the fine or give any information on what happens if you are not living in the area. There is on fax number, no email no other way to communicate with them. People are literally at their mercy and this is exactly how unnecessary warrants come to fruition.
