River Walk

Definitely felt a bit touristy doing the boat tour but I am a tourist so it’s fine. Quick little tour but it was cool to learn some of the history along the Riverwalk. Bonus star because our captain was Australian and we got to listen to his accent for 30 min.

I highly recommend doing this tour during the holidays. So pretty. It will be very cold so bring enough layers to keep you warm. I haven’t done it during spring and summer and probably won’t considering how hot Texas is. But if you like that sort of thing then... do it. Line wasn’t too long even though it looked like a lot of people. Fun facts given doing tour. Go potty before getting on boat so available after you get off boat but closed after hours so prepare..
We were alerted by the guide: if you want to ride the boat you must wear face masks... even babies and little kids.
The lines to go on a boat ride wasn’t too bad. It appeared to be a long wait, but before you know it (one min) you are seated on a boat. The boat captain was knowledgeable and spits historical info while you are on your ride. Overall, I enjoy my ride on San Antonio’s River Walk (drainage ditch lol).
It was actually really nice and learned a lot about San Antonio.
