Extremely friendly institution that has created a community fostered from people who practice holistic health. The atmosphere created by the community is one that is warm and welcoming. I have met many great peers at International College of Holistic Studies. We have bonded over one commonality - holistic living - but have found that there are many more interests that exist outside of our hobbies. Thus, International College of Holistic Studies is more than just an institution, but rather, International College of Holistic Studies has created a community of like-minded individuals that continue to give back. I highly recommend checking out this institution, even if you are not interested in holistic living. There are some really great people here.

Andrew Mansker

This massage and holistic healing school has been in Pacific Beach since 1989. They are state licensed, GI Bill approved (Vets welcome!). With SEVIS / Homeland Security Approval, they can write M1 Visas for foreign students. Holistic Health Practitioner, Massage Therapist and Massage Practitioner and Nutritional Counselor are only some of the certifications they offer. The massage clinic is run by students and if you want a deal on a massage, this is the place! On Monday evenings they offer free Vet massage and lecture/massage to the public. I have looked at so many schools and both the environment and versatility of classes has me sold. This is a col school. Also with affiliate schools in Hawaii and Europe that offer similar courses. Seymour Koblin's classes are especially inspiring...See you there sometime

I recently completed the Holistic Health Pratitioner program at ICOHS after having transferred from another school. I'm forever grateful to my masterful teachers, compassionate fellow students and the ultra supportive staff at International College of Holistic studies. The experience has been life changing.

I love the fact that you can learn a so many different modalities in one place. The Herbology program is terrific! They also offer classes from Chi Kung to Hypnotherapy. All these different modalities really round off my path as a Holistic Health Practitioner. It has such a since of community which makes for a great learning environment.
