Post COVID lunch: arranged to be seated at a section that was closed off, hence felt safe and far away from other patrons. Had their specials which is Roasting Pig and it's quite up to par. Note though there are a few items they have taken off menu such as clams and oysters. Very happy with the quality of food and the overall price paid
Consistent quality food. Easy to order over the phone and appreciated that the person spoke English and Cantonese fluently. She answered in English and changed to Cantonese after I asked to place my order in Cantonese. What I really appreciate about this location is the parking availability and how easy it is to spot the restaurant.
This is the only restaurant that me and my parents can agree on going to every time. We've been going to this chain when only the only location was at Lawrence. Since then, they've expanded to locations across Markham, Richmond Hill and Scarborough. Though there are many locations, The one at Agincourt Mall has always been the most consistent with their food quality - this one was opened by someone who used to work at the Don Mills and then the McCowan/Highway 7 location. The owner is very involved and is always around. The service is very good and your order comes out very fast. The staff are very good and thorough - they ensure to read back your order back to you before they input it into the system. This location does get very busy on the weekend but I've never had to wait more than 7 minutes to be seated. There really isn't anything on the menu I wouldn't recommend if you're in the mood for asian cuisine- there is something for everyone from thai to viet to canton staples. I will say, the chinese BBQ meats are very good as well as the turnip cake - these are staples every time we go and the consistency in quality on these items really sets it apart from other locations. If you order any of the rice or noodle dishes, be ready to be eating for a day or five - the portions are lit. Take out is very fast too - they let you use your own tupperware or give you reusable containers - I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an order. See you soon Congee Queen!
Never ordered the fried rice in creamy and tomato sauce. Very bad quality and quantity. Not worth for 17 to 20 either via directly from Congee or Uber Eat.
My family and i went there for dinner.. 7 people and the price was amazing, we ate way too much. The service was good. Everything is set up well interms of social distancing. It was clean and the table was set in front of you when you arrive. Definitely keeping everyone safe. My family and i were very happy with the service the set and the amazing food. We had a blast. The staff is doing a splendid job. I must add its the only restaurant i have gone into where the staff are wearing gloves to serve, which I'm super impressed with. When restaurants reopened i didnt see a single wait staff wear gloves in any other restaurants i have gone to and of course i didnt stay there so this was just amazing. The added step in keeping everyone safe. Thanks guys!
This is my go to spot for Asian cuisine. Never disappoints. Addicted to their chilli oil. Lol
