I joined CMP Gym In June 2020 to loose some body fat and generally tone up. Normal Gyms have no appeal for me, they can be too sweaty, too cliquey, too many poseurs, too many gym bunnies etc etc. They intimidate me and I don’t return so I waste my money ! CMP is different. It is 1-1 private personal gym and nutritional training. You can invest as much money & time as your goals and pockets allow to achieve the results you desire. My trainer “Jimmy” is a lovely young man who is passionate about turning your goals into reality and will support you both practically and emotionally throughout your journey. His delivery was less drill sergeant and more army padre which suited my personality to a tee. We found humour to lighten the sessions and the workload was managed with gentle pushing and lots of encouragement from the sidelines. I was struggling with putting my nutrition plan into place at the start and Jimmy helped me find the best way forward whilst keeping me on track. After almost 12 weeks I had reduced my body fat, gained visible definition in my arms, bum and legs and my back and tummy were thinner and flatter. Whilst I had initially aimed to continue training for 20weeks, unfortunately I have had to “halt” my training due to scheduled surgery. However I managed to seriously improve my all round fitness and as soon as I am able I will resume my training ASAP. Thank you to Jimmy for all his hard work and for setting me up in the best possible shape for a major op. See you ASAP you beast !! Sarah

I’ve been training with Chris since July and am still doing so. Just over half way through my 12 week program and the results I’m seeing now are already surpassing what I was expecting at the end. I was looking to just “sharpen” up my body, but with the guidance in both training and dieting from Chris I’ve already achieved much more. I feel a million times better and constantly seeing the changes in my body is the biggest motivation. What really struck me with Chris was the fact that we made a 12 week plan, but as the training and myself develops the plan changed to better suit my current situation. We always listen to the body and adjust the program accordingly to ensure maximum results. Your feedback is important to Chris as he uses it to make those essential tweaks that can help you achieve your goals. There was never a feeling of just making and following a schedule and hoping for results. Everything is planned in detail and every client is different. Chris understands this and adjust both training and dieting to always suit what your body needs here and now. This makes the whole experience a lot more dynamic and personalised. On a final note I can add that I came in with a slight fear of working on my legs due to a recent knee surgery, but with Chris we slowly and steadily worked on it so that both my strength and balance in the knee is now significantly better than it has been for a long, long time. I can of recommend CMP enough. If you wish to achieve the maximum results and are willing to put in effort to get the best out of yourself, then this is the place! I have never been in better shape than I am after this time with Chris and I look forward to 5 more weeks of giving it my all and seeing how far we can take it

I’ve been working with my assigned PT Andy for the last couple of months to help me with my fitness and to tone up - I found the sessions really enjoyable even though you have to work really hard. As I’m quite new to this Andy walked me through all the equipment and the routines making sure my technique was on point to make sure I was getting maximum benefit. Overall I feel in great shape and my posture has vastly improved and being a keen golfer I’ve noticed a considerable change in strength and stamina whilst out on the course. Highly recommend AF

I have been driving past CMP everyday for 5 years and decided to give it a go earlier this year as my weight was at its highest and fitness at its lowest. I can't describe how professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic this team is. I have been training with Andy who is always positive, so patient and attentive to questions or concerns. He is an excellent coach who encourages you along the way and keeps things light hearted. He is in regular contact to ensure the nutrition and cardio is followed through. I was not a \gym person\, let alone someone that did weights. But there is so much care given to ensure you train safely on machines, that it now feels completely normal. The training is intense however you can choose to go slower to fit your job/life. I have also got to know the owner Chris, Jimmy and James and all are so keen to share their knowledge and essentially just want you to succeed.
