The first time I ate here was with my sister. We didn’t like eating here too much. Just got back recently with my bro and his gf. I was pleasantly surprised! The food tasted great. You will not be too full when you eat here though since the servings are small. We were quite happy with the service too! The staff are awesome!

Food - craving for Chinese food? This is one of a good place to satisfy your cravings. I like the hakaw and the braised beef noodle. I was just expecting it to be spicy but good thing chilly sauce to the rescue. Staff/service - the staffs were accommodating and they were able to serve the food at a reasonable time. Place - I like that when we went here there was no long line. But it was a bit hot though. The place was clean and also like the ambiance. It was also quite small. Recommend - #chinese #hakaw #XiaoLongBao

Best Peanut noodle in Manila! I was really craving for this one that's why I forced my fam to eat here. Other than that though, the other dishes are just ordinary. Don't get their spareribs. It tasted like chicken instead of the usual spareribs. Their xiao long bao is also ordinary. I'll still go to din tai fung for the best baos.

Congee is my comfort food whenever I feel sick, this congee is right on spot. Very simple. Comforting. Chicken chop is very tender. Spinach well seasoned. Fried rice is flavorful. A must try would definitely be the Xiao Long Bao don't forget to prep your dipping sauce black vinegar, soysauce and ginger!

Shilin is a popular night market in Taipei that features enormous street food. It is known for authentic flavors such as stinky tofu, dumplings, buns and more. This restaurant serves moderately-priced Taiwanese food. Shi Lin is situated at the garden area in the 4th floor of Trinoma Mall. It is outside the cinema wing complementing our noodle cravings before taking the last full show. We ordered the famed Xia Long Bao, Shaomai, Pork Buns, Steamed Mantao, Shrimp Fried Rice, Spicy Ribs, and Wonton Noodles. Quite a filling meal for two. We spent P1500 for a family-sized serving. The Xia Long Bao comes with two other options: Truffle and Crab fat—but I opted the classic one and it was a good choice. Not really impressed by Shaomai. Overall, the food are flavorful but not exceptional. We had a pretty good experience with their service as well.

Good Taiwanese cuisine priced just right. Big portions for sharing but it’s a small branch compared to Greenbelt.

I found out yesterday (June 26, 2018) that Shi Lin is having a discount promo on Metrodeal, thus, I decided to try it out. (P599 pesos for P1000 worth of dimsum/noodles besh lamon kung lamon ganern haha!) I came with my bf and ordered only dimsum and noodles (since the deal/ voucher is limited only to those). Note that the store's rule is to send the voucher first on their email prior to ordering foods. It's a good thing that we have data connection on that day since the store do not offer wifi connection. Arrived at the store, kami lang guests nila. Haha! Sobrang ganda ng shop. Tipong cozy and relaxing sa pakiramdam. I attached here all that we ordered that day, yung interior ng store pati na rin yung receipt for your reference. Haha! (Yun lang, di ko napicturean yung menu.) Masarap naman foods na naorder namin. Special mention yung Xiao Long Bao (dabest talaga) and yung Noodles with double boiled beef/ chicken. Di ko medyo bet yung Spicy Shrimp and Pork wonton. Para lang syang wonton na nakapatong sa mamantikang chili paste tas di masyadong maanghang (yun talaga nakapagpa-down sakin haha!). Summary: Plus: Xiao Long Bao, Noodles with Double Boiled Beef/ chicken, good service and store's cozy ambience Down: Spicy Shrimp and Pork wonton All in all, t'was a good experience and worth trying. **** Edit: My friend visited the place (dahil na rin sa recommendation ko haha) and said that they no longer require them to email the Metrodeal voucher. Oks na kahit ipresent lang yung screenshot ng voucher, which is a good thing. Yun lang. Ciao!
