First time back in a Brewer's Fayre since March, and one we have never been to before. Poor signage outside for actually entrance, as part of hotel. Had a couple of minutes to wait before being seated. Waiting staff were great, very attentive. Mac cheese burger was delicious. Meringue kisses were a new dessert to try.

Although it looks nothing from the outside it is lovely inside. Cosy and friendly. Staff are really helpful. We were 4 people and two households and it was no problem to get a bigger table to socially distance. Lots of sanitiser stations. One way system clearly marked. The food was served on time although they were busy. It was really delicious. Great choices on the menu. Spectacular walk out on to old road bridge nearby. Would definitely go back

Good service experience and lovely meals served. Restaurant was not busy for a Sunday lunchtime but tables were well distanced. I would have no hesitation in making a return visit.

Good food. Lovely service. Very safe while Covid19 is about.

A real disappointment tonight, only a few customers in, 4 bored staff behind counter. Ordered rib eye steaks which came looking lovely, however both were tough. Gristley and chewy. Waited 45 minutes for staff to ask if everything was good. Showed them virtually full plates and explained problem, slightly disappointed that was only offered a free sweet. Told waitress I would not be paying for food as we hadn't even eaten it, she replied it's up to the manager not me. I don't think so !!! Didn't charge me for food. Service was rubbish. Hope they get a grip.
