If you do not have the money, then do not bother as they are not interested in your business. So rude after realising we were on a budget. Think the guy's name was Mr Bill Skinner. You'd think he would want good reviews really.

My elderly parents purchased an electric fire from here about a year ago, customer service was excellent and cannot fault the company there. However, when the fire place went wrong they were most unhelpful. We’ve been trying to get in touch with Hedge End Fireplaces since before the lockdown, starting from about January, only to be told “we’ll be in touch” or “we will speak to dimplex for you”.” We’ve sent them countless emails, telephoned them countless times, my grandfather even dropped in a letter once they reopened post lockdown. Not a single response! The fireplace is probably out of guarantee by now and I doubt anything will be done. 500 down the drain and two absolutely heartbroken parents.

We had a gas fire fitted to my daughter's newly purchased Edwardian terraced house in Salisbury in May this year. The installation, involving fitting a new gas 'wood burning' look stove to an existing fireplace, was done by Hedge End Fireplaces and we were delighted with their work. It wasn't an easy job and involved putting a chimney liner in and extending the gas supply from the back of the house to the sitting room at the front, quite apart from squeezing the fire into an existing Victorian type fireplace surround. All this was done quickly, efficiently and very neatly with great care to conceal the gas supply pipe beneath the floor. We were very pleased and would recommend the friendly, helpful Hedge End Fireplaces team.

The guys that performed the installation were courteous and friendly. They managed to install a fake chimney breast and gas stove in one day and to a good standard. Unfortunately, the wrong door style had been ordered and we had a few issues getting delivery the correct one. That process was frustrating as it took 4 months and we had to chase a few times. I have to admit, I was beginning to lose faith ,however, in fairness, despite me losing my patience, the owner, Bill was always polite and did resolve my issue eventually. It may have taken a while but the end result was worth it.
