At last a pub with some good well kept local ale. It made a nice change from bland Green Kingland. Despite a corporate menu the food was good and most important the staff were friendly and efficient. It would have been 5 stars if they had more gluten free choices on the menu.

Food was amazing with a wide range of options on the menu. However service could do with little improvement as it is a little slow to clear away plates. Apart from that I would highly reccomend

Waiting for reply from manager/management so will add comments at later date .So update. If rating was for staff then I am sure all of our party of 12 would of given 5 starts for the lovely service from the younger staff members. Very helpful and can not fault. Unfortunately the one star was for the poor hygiene of the toilets in particular the ladies. Although once mentioned these where closed off and looking at the state of the toilet facilities they had not been cleaned for a number of hours, the second set of toilets where opened and unfortunately they had not been cleaned before being opened for public use.Did get a response from manager .Food was ok.Judge for yourself if you plan to visit. Looks like we unfortunately went on an over busy day and maybe staff found it difficult to keep to the standards needed to keep hygiene to the desired requirements.Wait for food was over an hour and yes we where told would be a wait of up to 45 minutes .Unfortunately food came out not all at same time and some of are group had eaten at 8pm and others still waiting for food at 8.30 pm.

Waited an hour for food on a Monday lunchtime. Quality of food was okay and reasonably priced. Nice outdoor space.
