Only a few trails and the bathrooms are all locked up. Nice views along the water. Wish people would pick up after their dogs... Nothing like dog stuff stuck to the bottom of hiking shoes.

I stopped in here for the first time to go for a fall hike over the weekend. There were a few trails you could take and they were all extremely well marked and took you through various parts of the woods. There were some views but you definitely would want to come once all the leaves fell off the trees to see better. There was good parking, maps now and then, and free to get in for CT residents. You can't ride bikes on the trails here, something to keep in mind.

Outstanding opportunity to get back to nature while staying close to home. Hiking, camping, picnicing, water access lots to do. Good access, parking and trails are clear and visibly marked. Streams and water falls, birds, and excellent plant life. Nice escape from crowds and daily grind. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Great park, a little tricky to find the trail head but nice trails. Great family camping in the summer. Beautiful views of Lake Zoar!

Stayed for a week (including fourth of July weekend) and we really liked it. Beautiful campsites with easy to access hiking trails. A short walk down the road takes you to the creek which has some very nice little waterfalls. The park sets rules and enforces them pretty well as a family was kicked out after having a few noisy arguments. The park staff is friendly. Swimming was closed at the lake but we saw a few people swimming anyways. The bathrooms were pretty clean and had hot showers. Nice park, we would stay here again.
