What a beautiful beach. Added bonus ice cream van on the car park. Very nice little beach when tide is in but then as the tide goes out the beach grows so a nice surprise as we had not been before. Also a place behind you on the hill to nip to the toilet or get something to eat or drink. Can’t remember the name of it but will come back and edit the name. The depth of the water isn’t deep you can go out into the ocean a good few steps before it starts to go deeper, which I think is great for the children. Obviously always keep a close eye on children going into any water any depth. The people were very nice and friendly and social distancing was very good here so we stayed all afternoon. Beautiful place lovely and quiet.

Great clean beach, can park on beach, seas not too far out. Great sand dunes to play in. Cleaner sand in dunes for digging. Good nature walk through dunes, hidden finds. We did encounter odd jellyfish but only on one occasion. Allows dogs to a certain point. Ice cream van n snack van there everyday. Toilets just off beach.
Such a beautiful, enormous beach. We enjoyed a long walk up and down the beach with our dog, in the sea (ankle bathing), up in the soft sand, through the woods behind the beach, in the sand dunes. The views are amazing, especially over the dunes. The air is breathtaking, refreshing and on the whole, it is a tonic for the soul! The only downside (minus 1 star) is the 8 charge to park on the beach, with virtually no parking available anywhere else. It's a lot to pay if you were only visiting for an hour or so.
It is such a clean, beautiful beach and for 8 you can park right on the beach from 9am till 4pm, which makes it much easier to keep all your picnic and beach things in rather than have to lug it for ages. There's also a hot food van and ice cream so if you don't have a picnic, you don't need to worry. At the moment there's portaloos at the entrance to the beach so you can go to the toilet.
Don’t forget your bucket and spade! A beautiful clean beach for the kids to play at. Pull up in your car on the beach, get there early enough on hot days to sit out the back of your car as the kids play in the lovely clean sand. Good toilets and catering van.
Very good for a walk. Will need wellies or waterproof walking boots. A bit muddy in places. Great for kids.
Nice fresh air. The sea breeze is always refreshing in this place with the occasional big boat sailing past to either dock at liverpool docks or heading out to sea. Overall, it's perfect place to clear a cluttered mind and just let go in the moment there.
A beautiful clean beach (when idiots don't leave there rubbish there). A great place for the family and dog walking with a forest just over the dunes. This National Trust location is well worth a visit if you're in the area.
