Wonderful place even if a bit muddy so bring your wellies. I wish they would put more maps up around the place not because you get lost, its not that big but to understand where the boundaries are

A great place to take the dog. Or just go for a stroll. Oaks planted a few years ago are coming along well.
It’s such a lovely area to walk around but can be troublesome at peek times. I would only recommend going if you live near by.
A great place for a walk or run with many different wild life trails. It is also a good place to visit in different seasons with wild flowers in the summer, bluebells in the woods during spring and the changing of the leaves in autumn, there are also quite a few gravel trails which is useful during the winter and wetter months.
Heartwood Forest is one of the best places to go... It has so much room and lots to do. Follow the hike trail, den building in the woods, look for the animals. (Wooden and real). I could go on. Parking is free and it's kept clean and is well looked after.. perfect for walks and picnics.
