Yikes. Brought my Genesis in for service and noticed damage to the vehicle leather passenger seat which wasn't there 4 days prior to service. When confronted, the dealer immediately stated they were not IN the vehicle, but only outside. I asked why then there were fingerprints all over the interior trim panels which weren't mine. I got a deer in the headlights look. They stated they would try to get warranty coverage for it, but no promises. I didn't care how they fixed it at this point and had not even directly accused them of damage. I merely wanted to discuss details and get to the bottom of it. Long story short, someone again said, "we weren't in the vehicle and we can't warranty it." I again alleged that they were because of the fingerprints and then they said, "okay we were inside, but we didn't sit down on the seat." I even had other gripes and issues after leaving the dealer, but the review would become much too large if I addressed them all. I ultimately decided to just take the vehicle home and contact Genesis directly. I highly, highly advice against taking anything other than your decade old beater Hyundai to this dealership. You definitely won't want to bring your Genesis here.

Not good to go on the Saturday before black Friday. Took 5 hours from the time we arrived until all of the paperwork was completed. Only test drove one car. Most of the time was being the second person between 2 dealers and I had an appointment and spent about 5 minutes with my dealer. He passed me off to another dealer that pulled the car out for us and told us to take it for a drive. He said he couldn't go with because he had an appointment coming in 15 minutes. He bounced back and forth starting my credit application. Then we waited for 3.5 hours to see the finance guy to do the paperwork. Then I had to go see my dealer who had passed me off to go get the second key. Then he asks if I want him to go over the car with me. After 5 minutes of 5 hours I told him that I would read the manuals, I have waited all afternoon and he wanted me to spend more time. Not when we still had to drop off the rental vehicle and drive 70 miles home. If I could have purchased that vehicle anywhere else in the state of Minnesota I would have walked out a long time before that. I've never been treated this bad at a dealership I purchased a car at. I would purchase a vehicle from another state before I would set foot in that dealership to purchase another vehicle. I still have to go there for service. I hope that department is better than the Salesforce of this dealership.
