Since 2004 we have been instrumental in helping to connect the eco-system, encourage innovation and profitable business growth on behalf of over 100 member companies within the UK, and In 2018 the Emerging Payments Association (EPA) have expanded their footprint into the African Market . The Emerging Payments Association Africa (EPAA) are looking to develop an association with over 200 members from all parts of Africa across the payments value chain; including payments schemes, banks and issuers, merchant acquirers, PSPs, retailers, and more. These companies will come together to connect, collaborate and learn from each other. The EPAA’s vision is in line with the EPA associations around the globe. We are focused on Africa where we believe we can through payments innovation and global partnerships turn Africa into the global hotspot for payment innovation. Most importantly we aim to be the organisation that facilitates and help to develop financial inclusion in-order to drive social and economic upliftment across the continent. As we set out to become the most influential trade body in emerging payments in Africa, the EPAA’s mission, to collaborate to innovate, has the potential to improve lives everywhere.
