I went in on Monday to get my car valued and had a look at a few cars. Got an appointment on the Friday and drove away today with my new car. Frankie was very warm and welcoming. Had a completely hassle free experience, will definitely be going back when I next look for a car. Can’t fault the service.
We've been here a few times and the service has gone from great down to just dangerous, and I'm genuinely gutted we lost trust in Stoneacre - we were actually in the market for a new Car! We have only used Stoneacre for the aftercare side of things; MOT, servicing, etc. The first few times were no issue, and they actually saved us some money getting an issue solved before the warranty ran out the next day. Where things began to fall down was negligence for a service. A day after we got the car back, the engine was overheating, something we asked them to look at. The car broke down, and he had to take it back. They identified the problem, and made up for missing it by doing the fix at cost, great! Still a faff we had to take it back. Flash forward a week (waiting for a part), we get the car back. My partner then discovered that the engine cover had been left in the boot with what looked like the air filter, this was after driving around for a few days. It's a little concerning that something as big as an engine cover was missed, and makes you wonder what else they miss when servicing/fixing your car. We were offered an MOT on the house, but it doesn't really make up for the fact they're an approved Fiat dealer, so we trusted them to correctly fix and put the engine back together - might as well have gone to a cheaper unapproved mechanic.
