Nestled on top of a hill off the main road, this is a very popular restaurant in the area. They have several courses to choose from. The portions are VERY generous. And like most Korean restaurants, they are very generous when it comes to refilling side dishes without extra charge. Obviously you can't ask for refills on expensive dishes like beef rib stew, but most other dishes will be refilled at your request. Overall the taste was fine, but it's almost 30kms from main part of Seoul so very inconvenient.

I would say this is a decent Korean-style table d'hote.
The restaurant made guests who has visited here come once again not only their cuisine quality and calm atmosphere in the dining space but also the skilled servers of most staffs including parking assisting man. However, if you were in this restaurant without booking they would have to surely wait for you long time than you anticipate though the day is just in the middle of weekdays.
Price are high but food was good
The food and atmosphere were very good. We had one of the more basic set-menus, with nothing additional, and it cost 38,000won.
A true taste of 강원도 cuisine. The crab 계장 and seasoned, dry pollock 북어 are especially good. The side dishes are authentic and representative of 강원도 home cooking. This place is miles out of the way of your typical Seoul itineraries but if you have a desire to try eastern seaside cuisine and are in the area I'd highly recommend a visit here. The staff and owners are also very warm, friendly and accommodating.
