We had a defective salamander pump only a year old. Spoke to help desk at salamander (Sasha Hussain). I emailed photos of the pump and explained situation. Within the call she reviewed situation, suggested we needed an upgraded pump and set up for our system. They refunded the difference between pump costs as part of warranty. We now have a working shower including pump. There technical advice was friendly and very good (we passed the information to our plumber). They honoured the warranty. This was very good service and I recommend salamander of the back of this.

Pump 1: Sounded like it was about take off. Pump 2: Sent the incorrect pump as a replacement. Pump 3: Took 2 weeks to arrive, leaving my parents unable to have a bath or shower over Christmas, despite reassurances from their customer service team it would arrive before 23rd December. Hopefully this 3rd pump is better than the last, we shall see. On top of this catalogue of errors, Salamander were willing to charge my Mother for the fact Salamander posted the wrong pump. This demonstartes a lack of integrity on top of their incompetence. Eventually refunded, but only once I filed a complaint. Would have been perfectly willing to defraud my parents if I hadn't of kicked up a fuss on their behalf. Would avoid at all costs, 0/5 stars.

I have a pump with 5 years warranty on it now it has stopped working. I called and after speaking to the technical team they told me they cannot do anything about it as it was fitted incorrectly. How can it be fitted incorrectly when the work was done by qualified professional plumbers and it has been working since 2017? Another way of avoiding a replacement or repair. Selling a product warranty to customers that is not designed to ever be applied. when required!!!

Been trying to contact Salamander for over a week with no success then after I wrote a review on here to complain about poor customer service. Whilst in a meeting yesterday, they tried to call me. I could not answer and expected a voicemail from them to confirm how I could get a response, but no voicemail. This just proves that they dont advertise or advise on returning their calls as they do not answer them anyway. Overall, the service is terrible and will never purchase or recommend Salamander to anyone. My plumbing contractor has informed he has had these issues for years and would not use them ever. We only replaced our shower pump with same as we thought it would be easier, but it has turned out to be a nightmare after new pump broke down after two months use.
