I have had two girls go to Sutton High, one of them from the age of three now going into Year 12, and the other left Year 13 just last year. They have both loved their time at Sutton High School, and I have particularly been impressed by the pastoral care offered by staff across the school. It’s comforting knowing they are in an environment where they are constantly offered support and guidance, whilst letting the girls’ independence grow. Sutton High’s range of facilities and opportunities have always been great and my daughters have enjoyed a range of trips and activities throughout their school careers. The wraparound care offered, even from nursery, was so helpful whilst my husband and I worked. My daughters would have time to complete their work, have a snack and enjoy their spare time with their friends until we were able to collect them. Overall, Sutton High School has always kept my daughters happy, motivated and determined to be the best they can be.

SHS is one of the best Schools in the country. One of my older daughters was there in the 1990s. We had an excellent experience in all they did for the girls she was with, many of them are in responsible positions around the globe. It was an easy decision for me to enrol my youngest daughter there a few years back. My hopes are so high for her and all those girls she is sharing this part of her existence with. I am confident that in not too far distance in the future, I will be grateful to the School as I am with my older daughter.
Daughter is in Year 3 having started in nursery and has been extremely happy at Sutton High. The school has brought out the best in her and she is growing to be confident and all rounded and willing to try all activities they offer. I would not go on the negative comments of the few that have posted as it is well known that people tend to leave reviews only when unhappy so definitely the minority I would say! Great school and teachers always happy to discuss girls welfare.
An absolutely brilliant school. Our daughter (not coming from the lower school) settled in very quickly. We really feel that she is not just another pupil / number as teachers get her and have found her strengths and development areas. Combined with a nurturing and forward-looking strategy, we have full confidence in our daughter reaching her full potential whilst enjoying her critical formative school years and making strong bonds.
I would not hesitate to recommend this school. It has the most amazing teachers and is incredibly supportive of all the girls, both in academic studies and pastoral care. My daughter started in year seven and has now been at the school for three very happy years. I am so glad I chose this school for her, the small, nurturing environment helps the girls to feel supported and achieve their full potential. It has exceeded all my expectations and I can not praise it highly enough.
