Several employees throughout the past year will question whether or not you're drinking enough water when they start messing up. Then they have to get someone else to come in an fix the issue that the noob employee couldn't. It's not coincidental as I have two family members who are regular donors and have had the same experience. An inexperienced employee will act as though it's the donors fault if they mess something up or need another employee's assistance. I'm a healthy individual, stay hydrated, and not overweight by any means. Perhaps whoever is in charge of hiring at this location needs to be more thorough when interviewing potential new hires.

THIS GIRL HAS NO BUSINESS WORKING THERE, BOTH TIMES THAT IT'S BEEN HER AS THE ONE TO DRAW MY BLOOD, SHE HAS HAD TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE COME IN & \FIX HER PROBLEM\, TRYING TO PUT BLAME ON THE DONOR. SHE DOES NOT SPEAK LOUD ENOUGH, OR CLEARLY & I FEEL SHE IS EASILY THERE FOR A PAYCHECK, TO GET IN & GET OUT. RUSHING A BLOOD DONATION IS NOT PROFESSIONAL. WHOEVER HER BOSS IS, I HOPE THEY READ THIS & TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION OF HIRING MORE PROFESSIONAL & EXPERIENCED EMPLOYEES.
Been before, not a bad place. However the hours on their website are misleading. It says they close at 4, but if you show up 3:30 or after you won't be able to donate. The website should explain that \aww nah playa we leebin at fo!\ Not that they close at 4. If you're not taking new donors then just lock the door at 3:30 or whatever.
I try to make it here every chance I can. You are well compensated for your trouble. The staff are nice and the establishment is clean.
Normally they’re great and awesome but the past two times I’ve come there I get turned away and I get there before 330 when they’re supposed to be closing but other than that they’re nice people and they do a good job
I came in to donate the other day. I felt like the woman who took my vitals did not follow the safety health regulations that any blood bank or plasma center has to follow. Here's what happened- as I walked into the area to do my vitals they called a gentleman into the area as well. Instead of doing our vitals one at a time she did them at the same time and did not switch out her gloves after poking the man's finger and taking the little tube of his blood. She came over to me and with the same gloves on took my blood too. Is this proper procedure for this establishment? Is it ok for the employees not to change gloves for different patients? I will say that at this blood bank there is a phlebotomist I don't remember her name but she is a middle aged African American woman. She is great phlebotomist. She is very sweet and kind. Although she is working long hours, she acts like she truly cares about your well being and makes conversation while donating. When she inserts the needle she is quick and precise. It takes someone truly special to insert a needle into my vein and for me not to even notice it or feel it. She is a great asset to the company.
