In nice weather this beach is a great place to visit. The ever changing tide helps keep this beach changing across the day. At high tide you have waves crashing on the rocks. But at low tide you gain access to the neighbouring beaches around the rocks and also access to the old historical Fort situated on an island just out from the bay. Also if the weather isn't great then you have the option to browse the many boutique stores found in the old castle town area. This place comes highly recommended.

I love Tenby, I have been going there since I was a child over 35 yrs, I then took my own children and still take my mum who is 83. The Tenby community is fabulous, they have adjusted to the new government changes and still make everyone feel welcome. If I could move that's where I'd like to live, love it friendly people and wonderful beaches

Gorgeous sandy beach that stretches for miles. If you are there army low tide you can walk to the fort and also explore the small rock pools and walk through the rock under the fort. Highly recommend visiting this beach and Tenby.

Beautiful beach especially at Low tide. Many many sea creatures to spot On the beach or in the rock pools at Low tide! It was very fun to explore the caves/holes at Low tide too! So beautiful...

A lovely beach, in every respect. Get there away from high tide and travel southwest (away from the castle) to discover that the beach between south beach and castle beach is the best (in terms of interesting rocks) Tenby has to offer. It also tends to be quieter than castle beach itself. Visit at sunset or sunrise though and it's so very beautiful. Sunrise over the water is a particular highlight here (south beach is better for sunset).

Small beach but fabulously situated. Tiny St. Catherine's Island with a 19th century fort and a castle hill separated by golden sand. Unforgettable time on Tenby beaches.

A beautiful beach. Soft sand and safe water for the kids to splash in. Close to the town centre and the castle provides a great backdrop
