Although still to be evaluated because work over-ran significantly in to the off season but am expecting that quality will match KWE's high quality reputation. Problems were with refusal to accept compromise over contentious issues. The car was returned dirty inside and out, with minor defects and missing parts, all of which could have easily been put right with a regular PDI process or flagged up ahead of hand over. Gave impression of lack of care and 'penny pinching'.. Your response: If my issues were limited to the ones you mention I would agree!

The service I received from the KWE team has been fantastic. My X-JS which had been off the road for 13 years has been brought back to life and is far better than it ever was. The attention to detail even in the unseen areas is superb. I can't thank KWE enough.

Attention to detail is the first thing that springs to mind. The work may take a long time to complete but that's always safe in the knowledge that everything that needs to be done is being done, plus many related matters that simply make good sense. KWE understand the importance of budget management to customers and are always capable of fitting work around that. Add to that the almost bottomless experience (in all XJS models) and KWE are a mine of importance for keeping these great cars on the road and running well. Hard to take the car anywhere else really...

It's not possible to try and say how good KWE are, simply magicians in mechanics overalls. My XJS went in as an XJS and came out as an XJS plus. I'd highly recommend the services to all. At the end of the day, if you're going to sign your work it has to right.

A very sad experience after spending \u003e 7000 pounds. Off all the upgrades I ordered 2 years ago, finally only the revision of the aircon works until now.. - suspension : ratling and bouncing on the way home from England to Belgium as soon as I hit a bump or hole in the road. (after begging for an adjustable key I finally recieved it and after working at the car myself, managed to get the car higher) however at the first MOT inspection : all new shocks and springs dissaproved because no certificate of conformity was available. After a long discussion KWE would refund me for the hardware.... after sending to KWE recieving only about 300 euro (of the initially/- 2000 Pounds..), though fully cleaned and after only about 2000 km because so called not in pristine condition anymore. -replacement of all relevant bushings : The week after my return, my local garaged needed 1 full day to adjust and secure bolts, and yes KWE agreed to pay the bill (first I had to return the car for more than 500 km ...) -revision of the driver seat : about 400 pound, but as the comfort hadn't increased and after a closer look : only a foam board was put underneath the seat ... so again the same service in Belgium at half the price but totally renewed foam inside the seat as one would have expected. -waxing for anti rust : but forgotten to put in plastic washers.. after resending 2 or 3 times, finally recieved the right ones... - steering rack revision : leaking again after 1 year, resending to England, reaction of new supplier :yes it was revised but only partially... ! no sense to call or email to KWE, no reaction of course, but the customer can pay the bills.
