Not crowded , booking must be done over the phone or online, food really nice and fresh. Service friendly and location is beautiful. Visit is a must!

2020 is the year of the staycation, but it still feels a little strange to go to a hotel in your own city. However, the Dean staff make you feel at ease and as if you're on a holiday no matter where you're from. From the moment we arrived Tom at check-in was very friendly and professional, and made everything very easy even though I was using a few different vouchers as part of payment. We stayed for just one night and had a 3 course meal in Sophie's as well as breakfast the following morning. Despite being busy, dinner didn't feel rushed, and the food was really good. We had some cocktails in the bar downstairs and then ordered more up to the room. The following morning we ordered breakfast to the room, but the restaurant was very busy so they asked us to push it back to later. This meant we had to change it to late checkout, and again Tom facilitated this no problem. I would recommend the Dean to anyone staying in Dublin briefly or for anyone Dublin locals doing something different. They have a deal at the moment of 300 for 2 people for one night, which includes 3 course meal, 4 drinks, and breakfast the following morning.

I spent two nights at the Dean and it was fabulous. The room was small but so comfortable and well designed that it just felt cosy. Food was lovely and the interiors are really nice, but what really made the stay special was the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff to the ladies who cleaned my room, everyone was unfailingly friendly - they all went above and beyond.

Wonderful, staff so welcoming. Heard it was nice but didn't realise it would be that nice. Definitely going back

Outstanding, service and rooms are fantastic. Dinner was amazing and the fridge in the room was big enough to hold a shneaky bottle of champagne. An absolute haven, especially in these crazy times. Wish we could have stayed longer. You can even have a go on "The Swing"!

stayed here over st patrick’s weekend as t was the cheapest available at short notice! had a lovely time. it’s such a beautiful hotel. very nice interior, smelled amazing and staff were all very nice, helpful and available at all times. unfortunately there was work going on outside the hotel, so the view from our room was obstructed with cranes. snug room was very small but manageable for two people on a short 4 day trip. interior was lovely, very clean. there wasn’t a lot of surface space to put things on, in the room and also in the bathroom. more shelving would be appropriate. overall it was lovely. would definitely stay here again.

The Dean is a really hip and cool hotel and seems quite popular with folks for drinks and food (Sophie’s has a beautiful view and good cocktails). Staff are super friendly and helpful and always wore masks and were very thoughtful about helping with luggage. The rooms however are really small. The showers in the room are great though and the beds really comfortable. Location is really handy for some of the great things about Dublin including parks, shopping and history. Like most folks have said noise is the big issue. The room I had was of a hallway that had a fire door that just kept banging with everyone that entered at any time of the day or night. And in general the noise level is pretty much constant from folks coming back late at night (even during COVID). I can’t imagine how noisy it gets when the bars are open. No parking at all and no valet either - you can park in the QPark in the Stephens Green (drop off your bags at the hotel before you park as it’s crazy to try to get suitcases down the elevator in the QPark during COVID it literally fits 1 person)
