A bustling place if you're in for a cool treat in the evening. There are rows and rows of hawker stalls selling variety of different icy cold desserts such as ABC (ice shaved dessert), fruits, kuihs, and more. No doubt why this street area is called "Tong Sui Kai" (in Cantonese it literally means, sweet dessert street). Parking here is ample and there's dedicated parking lot for a small fee up to RM3 per entry directly opposite of the stalls. The row of hawker stalls easily stretch up to 50 different choices depending on your preference. Just simply choose a spot you want to have a meal and the waitresses will serve you well. You can also order food from different stalls from as far as you're seated. Price wise, it is somewhat may not as cheap as like in any hawker centre. If there's no seating spot available at the front, they also have a larger space mostly for bigger crowds or family at the back. (Note: During RMCO, only 2pax can share a same table in the front, larger crowds will be directed to the back seating instead). Opening hours here can be vary till late night (from evening till 2.00am). (Note: During RMCO, operating hours is only until 12:00am).

Lots of choices for food. The environment is as per the normal road side hawker style. Sellers are very friendly. The mushroom sauce Chee Cheong fun is nice. Fried meehon is good too. Fruit rojak is recommended. Will come again.
A good place for dinner in Ipoh. Price is acceptable for seafood. Especially, enjoy their cockles (kerang), it is big and fresh. Other dishes are nice and cheap. The dessert is ok as well.

I'm here not for the ice blended / fruit ice. Too sweet for me. Love the traditional porridge. Friendly uncle and taste good.
