Food is great, especially liked the pan fried pork dumplings and the tofu wrapped vegetable. You do not order from a menu, you just ask for things from the carts which come around. The food ranged from good or excellent. Price is reasonable. Service is excellent.

Authentic Chinese food. Best one I had in Toronto yet. So many options to choose from and the prices are average. Staff is friendly and the service is relatively fast. Food isn't oily at all which is great. Place could be cleaner but it is always busy. Parking spots available on the street outside.
Fast service, good taste and great value. We ordered a fish fillet and a That red curry with pork. Both the dishes were well cooked. Not too much oil and very flavorful. Will definitely recommend if you visit this part of the town.
Four stars and I haven't even been to this restaurant yet. A little something that will be rectified shortly. If their take out food is an indication of what they serve inside the brick and mortar, they have a winner. The two current pictures show a mere sampling of what we ate. All I can say at this point is that it was delicious right down to the rice. Certainly helped our July 1st celebrations. More to follow.
Just okay Chinese food and fairly cheap. The all day dim sum was fine but limited items. The service was quick and the place looked fairly clean but needs updating. Open early and closes late.
Had some relatives come by and they were looking for some good quality Chinese food I took them here on a whim based on the awards they've won and I'm so glad we came to this place. We couldn't reserve a spot give that it was noon on a Sunday so we took a chance and didn't have to wait too too long even though we were a group of five. The dimsum food isn't the cheapest compared to uptown but it's a good place to go if you're craving the typical dimsum fares such as dumplings, siu mai, har gow, etc. but you can also order the lunch menu like the veggies or noodles. They still do the old school pick your own from the cart which I appreciate. Will definitely be back.
Best dim sum in East Chinatown and they have the traditional push carts, which you do not see as often anymore.
I have hosted two different small family groups at Pearl Court Gerrard over the last month and in both cases the entire dining experience has been excellent. Each of us, Including the children, is looking forward to the return visit. The meal is delicious starting with the best hot & sour soup I've ever had. The portions are large, set on over-sized platters; the vegetables are crisp, each with its own distinctive flavour; we've yet been hungry enough to attempt desert which I'm sure is at least as tasty as the rest of the meal. Pearl Court is quickly becoming a family favourite.
