Had a really great time here! Perfect for all ages. The meerkats were the most entertaining by far! Great setup and excellent one way system! Lots of interesting facts along the routes to read!
Lovely morning with my 4 year old. Good Covid-19 practice and social distancing implemented. Just a shame the opportunity to hold some of the animals has now been scrapped Still, we really enjoyed the park
These people’s effort deserves praise and admiration. Thumbs up for their work’s results. The place is well taken care of and the lovely animals seem well fed and happy. You should reserve around 2 hours for exploring the place.
We went to Tropical World with my parents and 4 year old and 1 1/2 year old. We weren’t expecting much when we pulled up as it looks like a standard garden centre outside. However we had a lovely afternoon here. There are loads of animals and birds to see and it’s a lovely walk around the zoo. It’s very enclosed so our children had great freedom and really enjoyed themselves. There are no big animals here but cleverly the owners have placed life size model animals like zebras and gorillas around the walk and smaller children get the feel of a bigger zoo without all the walking. This is obviously a labour of love for the owners and it’s great value for money. Would definitely recommend for smaller children. The coffee shop next door is lovely too.
Lovely place the grounds and pathways are spotless, great facilities for hand washing and hygiene, great value for money, not great for photography the perspex around the animals made it very difficult, it was not clear in some cases very smudged.. The butterfly enclosure does not disappoint but again from a photographers perspective I got no photographs, my camera steamed up constantly, the hot blowing air plays havoc with the glass, I waited a while and sat down enjoying looking at the butterflies they really are beautiful however I got no photographs, I did see alot of people getting photographs with phone cameras though.. A beautiful place for a family day out and wonderful for children to see the different animals like the Mere Cats.
Lovely place for all the family. The butterfly farm is amazing.
A lovely way to spend a few hours. Went late in the day and weren't hurried to finish when the centre closed. Staff were nice and the animals very entertaining. Make sure to go to the butterfly room and look out later for the talking cockatoo, Priscilla the bird and the very friendly panther chameleon.
