We had a fantastic day on a canal boat hired from here. The boats are slightly larger than standard so we got 7 adults and 4 young children easily on... and with the tarpaulin style cover we could enjoy the fresh air and stay warm. The staff were very helpful and taught us how to drive the boat while also explaining what to do if we got stuck (we didn’t) and also how to open the road bridge. We travelled about 6 miles each way with no problems and there were lots of lovely things to see. The boat was also very clean and spacious inside. Would definitely recommend!
What a lovely day on the narrow boat, professional staff and very polite.
Hire boats moored on the service point every time we went there (6 times in 2 weeks) one for 2 days of welding. There's room for only 1 boat at the service point. Hire boats 4 deep on the waiting area for services. Pumpout by appointment only. Elsan blocked regularly. Never anywhere for electric hookup.
