We checked out this place on a recent visit to Barcelona. As a rail fan it was really cool to see locomotives of the Catalonia Railway. It was a shame that they are kept outside though. Other than seeing the locomotives, there is not much else to see. However, if you have an interest in railways I would recommend this place.

Great museum! You won't see 27 steam trains from 1853 to 1945 anywhere else! The cabins are opened so you can climb on and imagine yourself the driver of the steam train. You can open the door of the furnace and so on. I am not the fan of trains, but here I fell like I'm six years old again and was excited to a greatest extent! Highly recommend this place to every man from 6 to 96.
Great time out for every train lover. A lot of old steam trains. Kids will for sure enjoy the visit. And let's not lie, adults will too
Nice place to go also with kids - you can go up on ever second steam engine as well which is what they enjoyed most.
It's an unknown Museum, but it shows train History in Catalonia and in Spain. And it is still growing and growing. So, next visit you will see more.
