The NHS outsourcing to this sub-standard facility is nothing short of disgraceful. Low-paid staff who have not passed an English language proficiency exam, under-staffing of medics, zero pharmacist oversight leading to medication errors. Referrals back to NHS services are not undertaken and left up to the service-user. Sub-standard care not in the same league as local inpatient NHS mental health services. If you’re going into hospital voluntarily insist on Meadowfield, Langley Green or Mill View.

Dr Bennett is absolutely the worst dr I have seen in any mental hospital, he stares you down trying to get a reaction out of you so you can blow your top! Forget about smoking in this place as the staff are too lazy to take you out!! The staff are very lazy and don’t do ask you ask or help in anyway, there are a few that do there job but most of all it has been the worst experience of my life! Some of the showers on my floor do not work, the toilets are absolutely disgusting at times!! There are hardly any activities to do except watch tv or lye around in the lounge!! I would definitely not recommend the Priory Tricehurst!!!!!

I cannot fault the staff at Ticehurst Priory in helping my granddaughter. She likes most of them ,and to some she has been very attached . They have kept her mother and myself well informed all through her treatment . They have gone out of their way to take her on home visits. She is in the children's department.

I have nothing but praise for the team on the Keystone Unit.My granddaughter was admitted to the unit after being in another hospital for over 2 years, with little progression in her treatment. It was the most awful 2 years of our lives, she was treated like a prisoner and spent most of time in bed, medicated out of her head. Thank god the hospital was closed down and my granddaughter moved to Keystone unit. She has progressed so rapidly as has been properly diagnosed and is receiving the best treatment and therapy. She is treated with respect and listened to.She is so much happier and her beautiful personality is returning, thanks to the hard work of all the wonderful team. She has gone from being told by the previous hospital , that she will spend the rest of her life in hospital, to being given hope for the future. She has actually been on a home visit to me, something i never thought would happen, and we are planning towards her future and more home visits. I would like to thank the whole team for everything they have done and are continuing to do for her, they are truly amazing.
