It is more than eight weeks and ARC Europe Ltd has not responded to my complaints. They also failed to confirm my complaints have been reported to the FCA. I appreciate it is the pandemic but a lot of people, including myself, remain working full-time. In order to submit this review, I have to give one star. Otherwise, I would not have given any at all as this is a negative rating. Of note, there will be a response from ARC which will allege they operate within the regulations and as per FCA rules which I have supportive evidence against what ARC said. Furthermore I have not given ARC Europe my permission for them to use any of my personal information. By threatening me with proceedings, ARC Europe also failed to follow CPR when alternative dispute resolution or mediation should be attempted by both sides at all times.

Thoroughly unhelpful agent on the phone. Chasing me for an outstanding balance which had been written off months ago, but they refused to contact THEIR client to follow up, leading to me wasting more of my time trying to deal with it. EDIT: in the interest of fairness, the second agent I spoke to was a LOT more helpful than the first. Still not resolved but at least they've tried to help.

So far so good. The lady on the phone arranged my payment plan. All contact has stopped. I'd advise anyone who is contacted by ARC to realise they are regulated and they are just doing their job. I'd also advise to protect yourself by logging dates and times of calls and taking first names of the agents. Make a note of any important information you are told. I was told there will be 1 periodic review of my payment plan every 12 months which is acceptable. As long as they remain transparent and stick to what they say will happen then I can't complain at all. The staff have been fine on the phone. Some friendlier than others but no one has been rude.

I’m surprised to see the bad reviews on here . The chap called Sheldon on web chat was EXTREMELY helpful . I wasn’t able to make a payment this month because of Covid related situations and we made an arrangement which was great and suitable . Honestly speak to their webchat if you have any issues . Not a lot of collection agencies have webchat so it’s so much more easier to tell someone when your having issues ! Sheldon was nice and friendly and a credit to the company ! All the best !

Unsolicited calls will be treated just like spam. GDPR is quite clear that communication with any party must be authorised ....please show me and thousands of others where I/we authorised you to call my/our private mobile contract number ...without referring to you're an authorised agent of the debtor and have their permission to call us. SPAM goes straight to the bin as will all your calls!
