After your loved one dies, they refuse to release the body for days. Even after the dr states it's good to go. And after multiple calls from family and the funeral home. They don't care at all about the family's wishes.

Quality Care I was hit by a car a week ago en route to go pick up my daughter from school. I was admitted into MedStar WHC. I was given excellent treatment for the care of my legs. 1 of them, the right femur had been completely fractured & needed work to restructure it. I had a super awesome team of nurses Adia, Kristina \Krissy\ Sproul, Jeremiah Zeckerias, & Armando all took wonderful care of me. Never remembered any nurses names that took care of me because their services were pathetic at other hospitals. Not this team. Despite my injuries, I'm in here making impressions on MedStar Washington Hospital Center staff. They already love me in here. Yup. This team deserves a raise & then some, okay! They laughed at my pain induced, drugged ridden jokes because they were funny as hell though. The PT Team was FIRE!!! They were impressed with my flexibility & the fact that I said that I've been in this hospital a week & everything down there is full-on au natural. They laughed so hard. My roommate, Mrs. Constance & I had never seen each other. We'd only spoken through the curtain & 1 of the staff members made it possible for Mrs. Constance & I to see 1 another. Thank you, Brain.

If you enjoy being transferred from one department to next just trying get information about an appointment, this is the hospital for you. If you enjoy last-minute requirements thrown at with no support, this is the hospital for you.

The nurses and doctors do not communicate with you at all as being the patient. You have to ask them for the results to your labs and to ask them about what there going to do to help you get better...I do not recommend coming to this hospital if your pregnant...they are horrible here.
