Oh beautiful shore line of ct... The lovely sites of shoreline and historic homes. The spotted horse is one of those old homes from the 1800s turned into a restaurant. As you know as much as I love today trends... I love history. So fine an 1800s home turned into a restaurant is my thing. Friendly staff. Covid precautions and procedures in place as well. I sat outside on the covered porch.. Online menu. Unless you couldn't get it to work. They provided a physical one. I ended up with a seltzer water, corn and chicken tacos. About 4 choices for sides I chose sweet potato fries. Every thing was great. The table next to me was great group of people and it was great afternoon with now new friends... Just gotta love places where staff and others are friendly and friendships are made.

Food is good, flavors are decently different and a good variety of food. The atmosphere is nice as well, little candles at the tables and live music was there- although it would have been nice to see it, we were blocked by the wall. 3 stars because honestly, the service isn’t that amazing, our server was definitely nice but maybe just short staffed?

Lovely people and great setting for lunch. Their attention to cleanliness and health restrictions was also top notch. Both the vegetarian options and food for carnivores was delicious, and if I return I will certainly be trying their chicken and waffles. If you're in Westport, check out the Spotted Horse Tavern.

Inviting atmosphere with the fireplace. I was disappointed in our waiter. He was not attentive, and a bit put out when we asked about the coke not tasting good. The food was good but not exceptional. After not eating out in a very long time time this overall experience was very disappointing. Not likely to return.

I was delighted that they had outdoor seating in the closed off street, and the food and quiet outdoor atmosphere was incredible on a lovely Sunday evening. They don't take reservations....I'm not certain if that is just due to covid, or if their regular policy. It is worth the trip. They quickly accommodated my party of 7by putting tables together quickly. I must say, the food did not authorize disappoint! The pretzel appetizer was fabulous! The salmon dish was amazing, crispy on the outside, yet soft and moist on the inside, cooked to perfection! The brussel sprouts were great. And definitely leave room for dessert. The service outstanding! I'm looking forward to going back! A

Tasty food, great presentation, warm ambiance and attentive customer service at the spotted horse tavern. Freon the amazing simple yet warm and inviting decor to the well prepared, flavor rich dishes, you will never be disappointed. Try the pretzels, Reuben and the tuna tacos. Solid 5 stars, wer will be coming back.

Great spot for casual but delicious food and drinks. The seating outside was covid 19 precaution appropriate. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The appetizers were very creative and the variety of choices satisfied everyone at our table. We were pleasantly surprised that the porch seating had heaters ,as the evening was cool, but we were all kept comfortable with the heat. A great choice to meet for a good meal and a comfy atmosphere.

Really really really really really really really really really really yummy. Really really really really really great man. Really good at slow walking with water. I enjoyed the food and the man, but the food was better. He will probably see this and cry but that's okay. I am just a young teenage girl, and when the other got crayons thrown in her face, she was embarrassed, but he was kind about it. One thing i didnt like was when he was slowly approaching me and then stopped which gave me a heart attack, but then he warmly said " can i take this dish from you" which i then felt better and said yes, as my jealous friend peered at me through his muscular arm. I am so very sorry, Spotted Horse Tavern. (P.S. tell him that walking slowly with different objects works *insert winky face*)
