A lovely place to chill. The walk from George III statue and Windsor Castle is a must, but it will take a while as it is about 3 miles each way.

A pleasant 2.5 mile walk from the castle's George IV gate to the statue of king George III on the hill. This walk is best done on a sunny day as it can get quite cold otherwise. There are no seats so if you get tired then you'll have to sit on the grass. There are no shops or toilets either so be prepared. Bicycles are not allowed in. As you get close to the statue you may see Prince Philip's deer on the right hand side. The deer can be aggressive so don't get too close.
Magical and reinvigorating
What a 'Long Walk'. Great views.
Always a great all weather walk 2.6 miles long. Now looking very brown after the hot spell and drought. Great to do the walk and pop into Windsor for a coffee or drink by the river.
