I bought a tank for my daughter in June from Pets at home unaware of of Pentangle. When I went in for advice after my ammonium levels rose they were initially very helpful. The shop was recommended by a friend. I was advised to move up to a 60 litre tropical tank which they sold me. Unfortunately my shrimp started dying and when I went back was told the filter was no good which came with the tank they sold me and I would need a new one. Ehiem. Surprised at this as they sold it to me. In the space of 3 weeks all my shrimp and snails died. Ammonia levels through the roof. I went back to the shop for help and was met by a very rude employee who said what do you expect if you buy fish from pets at home. She walked off and was very rude. I'm so shocked. This was a birthday present for my daughter. Just hoping I can sort the tank out before the fish start dieing. Wish I'd never bought the new tank and so shocked at my treatment. With regards to your reply. I didn't seek assistance else where. We originally purchased from PAH. After visiting you when I had problems and given your advice we didn't go back. The blood worms we were told to give originally 6 months prior at the beginning when starting out and I was unaware that this was an issue and stopped when you told me to. I rang the shop and they said someone would get in touch with me when I continued to have problems. This took weeks and then I received 1 text only and when I messaged back didn't get a reply so wouldn't say I received help after hours. Ultimately I don't think staff should be rude in any situation especially when there trying to resolve a problem. The whole situation has been very distressing. Thank you for your feedback

Great shop, I use it for their wide range of fishing supplies, but they also have a great pet/reptile/aquarium range too. The guys/girls there are always cheerful and helpful! Great shop :)
